MEET THE KR
Kanndiss Riley, 24 years old, lives in Margate, was born and raised in Walthamstow, London. Is proud of her Caribbean and African heritage. KR uses digital media to create bespoke products for clients.
KR is known for her infectious bubbly nature and determination. These qualities make her stand out in a crowd.
Through KARE SPACE she has shared her testimonial journey through Mental & Physical health care, produced websites, digital artwork and ran workshops on mental health, intersectionality and climate change. The mission statement of KARE SPACE is to educate others through storytelling. She believes this will bring about equal rights for all. Kanndiss Riley Ethos is "make education fun again for learning never stops".
KR over the last 3 years has played an active role in politics becoming the first BAME women under 30 to stand for the Women's Equality Party in the Thanet District Council Election May 2019. After her successful first election, she has joined TDC Community group Grass and Thanet Community Housing Trust as well as working on for Fawcett Society as their Information and Systems Support Officer. This is one woman who lives up to her resolute purpose to educate.
